A measured survey lasts around 2 hours and following the survey, we will produce several design options based on your needs and wishes. You will review these options with your architect at your design consultation.
A Better Home
Deborah Shaw is the lead Chartered Architectural Technologist of The Genius Loci. She has worked in the residential sector for 15 years and specialises in domestic residential design.
From London, Deborah graduated from London South Bank University in 2013 with a Masters in Urban Planning Design previously graduated with a First Class Degree in Architectural Technology in 2007 and became Chartered in 2016. She won the CIOB Certificate of Excellence Award and worked on projects with multimedia arts organisation in the South Eastl
She also won the Interior Design Award in Architecture 2013 for 2013 for her community Architecture project #fromthegroundup.
From 2008 to 2013 she worked in a medium sized practice concentrating on residential, Heathrow Airport, school and shop design, and then in 2014 she began her own practice focusing exclusively on residential design.
Over the past seven years she has worked on over 100 house designs for residential clients.

Deborah has worked on a variety of international hospitality and residential projects. As a Chartered Architectural Technologist, I partner with other consultants and development team members, and act as the interface between the company, property owner, developer and serve as the crucial link to ensure that a project is delivered successfully. I form a fundamental part of the design and detail process and provide the necessary guidance that meets the creative and commercial objectives.
